# Radio Code 019

What does what mean? If you are refering to the “radio code” 019 I can only assume you meant 10-19 which means Return to Station

I don’t think so. I’m looking for police or CB radio code, I believe. I know someone who goes by the handle “Zero One-Niner” and I’m trying to figure out why. No, I can’t just ask.

Police radio codes are area specific, so where he lives or got his handle from would make a difference.

**DMC** is right, ten-codes vary by agency. What I use on my EMT job is sometimes different from what the State Police use for ten-codes. This thread came up in the last year, and I called my local State Police barracks to check their codes against the ones we use in my ambulance corps. Most of them matched up, the more common ones. However, there were discrepancies.

Your mileage and codeage may vary. Just ask, no?
