So, the boss said to take off the afternoon for my bday if I wanted. I wanted, so howdy from da cave! 😃 **flytrap** I got a buncha gift cards Sattidy, an ice cream cake and today, in the break room, cupcakes appeared in honor of moi. I shared. I’m nice, dammit! Again, thanks for the bday wishes y’all. Irk went well this mornin’, no big, horrible things happened and I’m off early. Plus, I get the General’s dindin and a night with OYKW. All in all, a not too shabby birthday. ETA: First on three, on my birthday even! ---

**Happy birthday, swampy!** I am sleepy. Last night, around 3:30 am, I awoke to pounding coming from the apartment across the hall, then a door slamming, stomping down the stairs, pounding on the door of the apartment below it, stomping up the steps, door slamming, lather, rinse and repeat. I stepped out onto the landing about the third time to see WTF was going on. The neighbor whined that the guy downstairs had his radio too loud. :dubious: The dude works graveyards. Wasn’t. even. home. :dubious: I heard nothing but her racket. Told her that if she knocked on his door once and got no response, to call management or the police and if it wasn’t loud enough for that, then suck it up, buttercup, ya live in an apartment. ---

**HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWAMPY!!!** Whew! The monsoon is back in place in New Mexico, thank goodness. We’ll probably get some measure of rain for the rest of the week. It’s mostly cloudy today, unusual for NM, and rain may come later this afternoon or evening. It will likely accompany thunder and lightning, sometimes very spectacular. Keep your pets indoors, please!! There is a Weinerschnitzel restaurant not too far from where I live - they sell Tastee Freeze, as well as hot dogs (don’t knock it, it’s good stuff!LOL). I may stop by there later this week for a chocolate dip cone. 🙂 I hope **Swampy** gets the ice cream birthday cake for his birthday. 🙂 Happy Tuesday all! ---

My favorite names were a neighbor named his geese Lucy Goosey and Bela LaGoosey a pot belly pig named Hamlet a house named Sunny Beach - the owners son misheard what his father was calling the horse after the horse had escaped his pasture for the third time that day ---

Today wore me out. I worked with the Talkative Co-irker and she would.not.shut.up. She’s not as bad as the Ferret was, but I do wish she’d shut the hell up occasionally and not make me lose my voice by 2 p.m. And I have to work with her tomorrow as well. :smack: ---

So I called the realtor next door and he told me to call the coordinator who matched me up with my current realtor and explain the problem. He agrees that she should not be going away every weekend this tie of year, it’s the busiest time and he says I am considered a good client because I am available during the day and I’m not just looking I am buying. He told me to look at it this way, she may be just as glad to lose me as I am to lose her. The coordinator has gone home for the day. So I will see how it goes tomorrow, if I gt to see a house and like it and put in a contract then all is good, otherwise I will talk to coordinator and see what we need to do. So another distasteful job down. I go back to the doctor on Thursday and hopefully it will be my last visit. Also I mentioned to my neighbor about the car that dropped off somebody at the corner who then went walking down the street. He says it is suspicious and a few cars around here have had things stolen out of them or gas stolen. The police said city people are coming into the neighborhood, dropping people off who walk around looking for an unlocked car or small things left in a yard. So my nice quiet neighborhood isn’t so nice and quiet it seems. We have had in the past an issue with people on the other side of the highway breaking into houses or stores and then running across the highway into out neighborhood. Of course running across a highway is stupid but hey there are a lot of stupid people out there. ---

Something’s wrong in the aquarium - one yellow tang has died and the other looks like it’s almost dead. Two wrasses and 2 damsels are missing, the hippo tang and the striped tang are both acting weird. The fuzzy mushrooms are all drawn in. \*\*FCD \*\*did a water test and the chemistry seems to be fine. This is weird… ---

**MOOOOOOM** hope everything’s ok with the aquarium. **sari** yay for takin’ steps. I still say you need another realtor, but if she actually comes through tomorrow, then yay for her. The coordinator should still hear from you though, as I feel he/she needs to know what you’ve been through with her so the situation can get better. If she’s doin’ this to you, then you can bet others are just as frustrated with her as you are and that ain’t good for anybody’s bidness. Now that I’m through stickin’ my nose up in everybody’s bidness, I think I shall go lie upon the bed with OYKW to watch teevee and stuff. Nitey Nite Y’all! ETA: I ordered new pants from teh intartoobz last week. I got ‘em today. Y’all can rest easy knowin’ I won’t be wearin’ ratty lookin’ pants now. 😃 ---
