Excellent article. It does me good to see Liddy and Roger Stone mentioned on the same page. I’ve shaken hands with one of them, and fucked the other’s wife, while he slapped me on the butt. Stone opined (in one of his crappy books that I refused to buy, but read in the library) that Liddy was an idiot). They shared a warm hate-hate relationship. In the early 1980s, _National Lampoon_ ran a brilliant, hilarious article by Ellis Weiner called "_My Struggle": the sequel to “Will”_. It spoke volumes. ---

Having read various interviews with him over the years, I always had the impression that he was convinced he was far smarter than he may have actually been. But, my primary “recollection” of him is that a friend of mine, who had a weird sense of humor, once named her adorable kitten G. Gordon Kitty. ---
