The activity of the atoms on this world have recently become very much like the activity one experiences with another person they are intimately involved or in love, such as sensing that persons feelings or knowing their thoughts. In truth, if we understand how atoms interact, recent atomic and radiological activity, the activity between ourselves and our planet is not difficult to imagine.

Caesium is pink. There are a lot of pink clouds these days. Indeed, we’re in the middle of a full scale radiological attack from Japan’s nuclear fallout. [I have a Geiger counter for that purpose] Also: [www.radiationnetwork.com](http://www.radiationnetwork.com)

The Fluff may be responsible, an interstellar magnetic cloud discovered outside our solar system. The Fluff can get through our heliosphere which protects our solar system. In theory, this cloud and other radiological affects, microwaves, radio waves would be more active from a magnetized Fluff. Its ability to move through our heliosphere may be caused by temporal fractures that occurred from a collapsing sun[s] millions of years ago, or by its sheer weight and volume.

Needless to say, I felt a post regarding this phenomenon or activity between worlds need be addressed [in the correct forum] in hope of adding some insight by myself or others whose occurrences they could not explain.

I’m not sure it’s going to help anything, but honestly, there’s no reason to be afraid of the local fluff or, uh, ‘raging atoms’, **Vahid Tarzan**. You just got a lot of things mixed up, and are misinformed on some issues. Let’s see:

> [@Vahid\_Tarzan](#):
>
> In truth, if we understand how atoms interact, recent atomic and radiological activity, the activity between ourselves and our planet is not difficult to imagine.

We understand the interactions of atoms perfectly well; they’re sufficiently macroscopic to be described by the effective theories we have. Explicit calculation is difficult due to their relative complexity, but their qualitative behaviour is perfectly well known. It’s only at much more microscopic regimes that we still have genuine uncertainty.

> [@](#):
>
> Caesium is pink.

No. The colour of Caesium is commonly described as ‘[silvery-gold](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Cesium.jpg)’.

> [@](#):
>
> Indeed, we’re in the middle of a full scale radiological attack from Japan’s nuclear fallout. [I have a Geiger counter for that purpose]

The nuclear material in the US due to the Fukushima disaster has dropped beneath the level of detectability for standard tests back in [April](http://www.doh.wa.gov/Publicat/2011_news/11-064.htm), and never reached a level anywhere close to being a health concern.

> [@](#):
>
> The Fluff may be responsible, an interstellar magnetic cloud discovered outside our solar system. The Fluff can get through our heliosphere which protects our solar system.

The local fluff is a region where interstellar material is _less dense_ than usual, swept clean due to past supernova activity; it is kept out of the solar system by the solar wind and solar magnetic field.

> [@](#):
>
> Its ability to move through our heliosphere may be caused by temporal fractures that occurred from a collapsing sun[s] millions of years ago, or by its sheer weight and volume.

There’s no such thing as temporal fractures – you may be confusing this with the fact that sufficiently massive stars may collapse into black holes, in the immediate vicinity of which, due to their enormous gravity, time runs slower; but a ‘temporal fracture’ is not a coherent concept in any current physical theory.

I hope I could alleviate your concern a little; as you can see, there’s nothing to be worried about wrt either the local fluff, Japanese radioactivity, or temporal fractures.

We’re pretty much Star Trek fans here, aren’t we.

Steven Hawking recently explained the behavior of atoms/subatomic particles travel through time. Might help to add that to your Googlized Knowledge.

Radiological emisions, Pink. Are we going to split hairs about that?

Do you have a Gieger Counter? July, Denver hit 127 CPM [death is here]. I guess many here think they’re some kind of authority about that.
Another 7.3 quake in Indonsesia… Japan really has more trouble than you realize…

The Fluff, I can tell by your description is guided by links or keywords I’ve given you… therefore you are limited. Temporal fractures are irrelevent but logical. I shall go back and find the reasearh for you.

Now I only have time for one reply as I travel. Does one person on this board have a brain of their own or information besides that given to them by the media? A little input [beyond Google] may be helpful to you.

Thank you.

WAG as I really don’t know but the Chernobyl Sat Release gif is most likely false color to highlight what they are tracking.

The Sat MSG2 NRGB Archive link is whole bunch of movies and sound files. The only two pictures are of earth with blue tinted clouds. This is also likely false color. Clicking on a movie froze my computer up (very old computer), so I have no idea what they are about.

I had to Google CPM to find out what it means

But in a quick search I’m not finding how/what 127 cpm relates to anything.

I really can’t think of any contribution by Hawking on those particular issues. The theories we use to describe particle interactions, especially on the atomic level, were around long before Hawking, and with the advent of electroweak theory due to Salam/Glashow/Weinberg, pretty much all the theoretical issues relating to radioactivity are for all intents and purposes solved. Even before that, qualitative models provided a precise enough description. Hawking’s main work has been in cosmology, and arguable his most valuable contributions are black hole evaporation and the no-boundary proposal. Perhaps you can clarify what you’re thinking of?

> [@](#):
>
> Radiological emisions, Pink. Are we going to split hairs about that?

But that’s, you know, false colour. It doesn’t mean caesium is literally pink; if you meant that it is coloured pink in these movies, then well, that wasn’t really clear from your post…

> [@](#):
>
> Do you have a Gieger Counter? July, Denver hit 127 CPM [death is here].

Well, that’s high, certainly, but only about four or so times the normal background; during a high altitude flight, you’re exposed to more than that. So it’s certainly not ‘death is here’, and it’s also certainly not due to Fukushima.

> [@](#):
>
> The Fluff, I can tell by your description is guided by links or keywords I’ve given you… therefore you are limited.

If what your links say is the same as what I say, then you seem to be reading them in an odd way.

> [@](#):
>
> Temporal fractures are irrelevent but logical. I shall go back and find the reasearh for you.

You could at least try to tell me what, in your opinion, temporal fractures are. It’s not a term in professional usage, so even though one could conceivably come up with a concept and call it that, it’s hard for me to even guess what you mean.

It’s a cutesy name for the local interstellar cloud. Basically, we’re (as in our solar system) currently in a region where the interstellar medium is less dense than elsewhere, having been swept out by ancient supernovae, called the [local bubble](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Local_Bubble). This local bubble intersects with another such region, the loop I bubble. At the intersection, the interstellar medium is somewhat denser again, though still less dense than outside the bubble, and that region is the fluff, which is where our solar system is moving through right now.

All of which needn’t concern us much, though, since the solar wind basically sweeps our [neighbourhood clean](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heliosphere#Termination_shock).

Thanks. 🙂 But…

> [@Smeghead](#):
>
> You’re a better man than I, HMHW. I was just going to point and laugh.

That’s my usual response, too. It’s just that every once in a while, I want to go and make a honest effort. Because if you think about it, it’s just incredibly sad that there’s people out there, living in honest, crippling fear, simply because of a couple tiny misunderstandings and misinterpretations. I just want for once that if, say, somebody comes with the latest gloom ‘n’ doom about how Apophis is going to destroy the world (or I guess it’s Elenin now), or something, to just point out the facts, and then have them not say: “A-ha! Your denial of the conspiracy proves the conspiracy!”, but rather: “Oh, I didn’t know that. Well I guess that means then… everything’s fine!”.

But that’s not how this works – when somebody external gets wind of it, like us on this board, it’s mostly far too late, and what started out as some unspecified worry has bloomed into an idée fixe, perhaps some great trouble originally designed to hide all the littler everyday troubles behind that’s grown like a cancer to overshadow everything else, and has ingrained itself so deeply into the conception of the world that every attempt to point out alternative explanations just registers as an attack on the most deeply-held core values.

At some point, what started out as a misunderstanding, or a belief held in error, then becomes a mission, becomes simultaneously one’s worst fear and source of meaning – which must be a pretty horrible state of being, if you think about it.

But mostly, I just point and laugh, as well. I can’t do this whole noble-spirit thing every day of the week, it’d just wear me out. 😉

To put this as simply as possible: **Vahid Tarzan** , you don’t know what you’re talking about. Most folks at this board would like to help you understand what you’re talking about, except that your misunderstandings are so profound that we can’t figure out just what that topic is, nor what the nature of your misunderstandings are. It might help if you were to break down your points, one by one, together with an explanation of where you got those ideas, and try to hash those out one at a time. For instance, something like “I read in \<book name\> something about collapsing stars causing time fractures. What was \<author\> talking about, there, and where can I learn more about it?”.

A temporal fracture, is a disturbance in the fabric of space-time caused by the collapse of matter into a supermassive black hole that is so massive, it swallows itself, causing space-time to fold over on itself. Every time our solar system passes through one of these invisible threats, dinosaurs shoot out.

Or skittles.
