Holy bat poo, It hasn’t stopped hissing down for 4 days now and there’s more to come.
Back of my humble abode there are some playing fields and in the far corner there is a thumping great lake full of gulls. It looks like the bloody North Atlantic, any minute now I expect to see U-boats surfacing
A duck just wandered across my back garden wearing an oil slicker and carrying a huge golfing umbrella, he was also wearing a pair of wellies and the poor bugger looked totally cheesed off.
So seeking to alleviate his misery I tossed him a slice of bread, he stopped, looked at it, gave me a look of utter disdain and shuffled into the gloom muttering “Fuckin’ humans, bastard could have invited me in to dry out”

You could send some of that down here to North Carolina. We’ve been having a drought for the last six months. (Although it does look like we’re finally getting some rain over the next week.)

Ah but at least you’ll be spared the annual traditional hosepipe ban.
And anyway its MEANT TO rain in Manchester its gods way of punishing you for all of the rest of us being forced to watch Fucking "Coronation Street "by those women in our lives whos knickers we have an intimant aquaintance.
Get rid of C.S. and who knows it might just stop raining up there.
Which will cheer the Whippets up no end.

The biggest load of twaddle on TV apart from Eastenders.

But I am NOT Northern in anyway.
So DONT you ever try to pin that on me
East Enders is shit as well,I’m not a regionalist on that subject ,I think that all soaps are tripe,but then again thats no surprise because I’m not a woman.

FWIW I totally agree, soaps are the epitome of crap TV programmes
