Funny how something so simple can be so nostalgic. And that sound is ingrained in my memory. Sort of like hearing a song on the radio, and expecting the next song from the album to play, that makes me fully expect to hear the Charlie Brown or Rudolph theme start up. ---

When I opened up this thread, I had VERY vague memories, but I thought perhaps I was just imagining that, until I watched the clip. I so remember that! It always came before specials with “Strawberry Shortcake” (I was an absolute nut for Strawberry as a little), or “Charlie Brown.” And yeah, it would suck then if it turned out to be say, figure skating, or some stupid adult “variety hour” with the Captain and Tenille, or Dionne Warwick and her psychic friends. ---

Oh, wow, does that bring back memories. I think I was just sucked back into the 70s 🙂 I think I’m going to pull out my video of Rudolph and play the “special” intro before it. The only thing I’ll be missing is the commercials 😃 ---

Man, I was thinking about this intro just a few days ago, and thanks to that link provided by **TellMeI’mNotCrazy** (thankyouthankyou), I got really nostalgic for a while.
