Keith Floyd was the best of the tv chefs. I too enjoy cooking with a glass of wine in hand. He will be missed, for his open and unpretentious style and his great recipes. ---

Whenever I wanted to truly impress, I would whip up KF’s Fricasee of Young WIld Boar. The world is worse without him. And I would imagine there are mass panic lay-offs in the French wine industry too. ---

Particularly prescient scheduling on the part of Channel 4. It appears Floyd died shortly after sitting down to watch the [documentary](http://www.channel4.com/programmes/keith-meets-keith/4od) about him on Monday night. ---

Its appropriate that his going was after a good meal with wine,doubt that we’ll see any more celebrity chefs of his individuality again.
