Even sans the extra house, it’s clear to me that we can’t really make it on (what used to be) a good, middle-class salary. Like others in the thread, it’s gonna take just one vet or major car bill to put us over the edge.

I’m always ashamed of living paycheck-to-paycheck, but it seems that most people are . . .
