Why is it that some people (and it’s not just Ralph) can’t let Clinton go? The guy hasn’t been President for 3+ years and really…he’s hardly in the news anymore. [Yet here we go](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=260868) Is the need for someone to demonize so ingrained that you have to keep picking on him? Or is it just force of habit? For God’s sake…I’m **not** an avid Clinton supporter by any means but it gets tiresome. “Halley’s comet fail to return? How did Clinton manage it?” “Sea levels rising? Clinton farts too much!” “New Vin Diesel movie tanks? Clinton undercut it for his own purposes!” Heck! Make up your own, kids! Everyone can play! Give it a rest or aim for a more contemporary target, will you, Clinton bashers? Hillary, she’s still in public life. Or Kerry. Or **me** , even. ---

Seems like a reasonable question. Take out the shot involving Lewinsky, and you have a pretty fair GQ. I would have guessed **yellowval** ’s [post](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=4952194&postcount=4) would be pretty accurate, considering his being a target for 8 years. Yeah, Clinton jokes are out of vogue now, but hardly a reason for pitting **ralph124c**. Besides, you seemed to answer him quite civilly there. Why the change of heart? ---

That links to the same post, Casey. Color me confused. I got increasingly irritated at ralph through remembering how angry I was a few years ago… I saw The Violent Femmes at a 4th of July festival in Washington (hosted by Jimmy Haha of Jimmy’s Chicken Shack). Gordon Gano spent most of the between song patter bitching about Reagan. I’m like, “Dude, he’s been out of office for a decade or more. Even if you disagree with him…let it fucking go!” ---

They are still inflicting misery on Ohio. The current Gov. Taft and his prohibitionist wife are happily destroying Ohio.
