Ok, so this is gonna sound pathetic, but it’s just bugging me, ok, so go with me. I have this quote in my head, and I’m pretty sure it was said by both Ross and Joey at the same time as they were mocking/imitating Chandler. Both _GASP_ “My pen?! MY PEN!!!” I know, it’s totally irrelevant and so minor, but it always pops into my head when I think of the show and I can never find the clip for it. I’d love to know what episode it was in, or if it even exists, maybe I just imagined it. ---

Kids in the Hall had a sketch where some nerdy bank teller freaked out because a customer took his pen. He chased after the guy shouting, “My pen! My pen!”. ---

I think they were mocking the way Chandler speaks, with emphasis on random words. ---

Even before he said that, I’d figured that (a) he’d searched for “my pen”, and (b) if he’d been _right_ about the “my pen” part, he would’ve found it. But as hard as it was for him to recall _what_ Ross and Joey said when doing an impression of Chandler on FRIENDS, it was easy for him to recall _that_ Ross and Joey were doing an impression of Chandler on FRIENDS; that was, after all, the whole bloody point. And so I shrugged and simply left out any mention of a pen while googling ‘Ross Joey Impression Chandler Friends’, and the first result obligingly popped up. ---
