Instead she took two steps forward, grabbed Burgoyne, and kissed hir forcefully, swept up in _Pon Farr,_ caught up in her need, and knowing, finally, for once, exactly what she wanted. No words were required. And Burgoyne never did get that five minutes’ rest. ---
