I even drew a caricature, on a notebook inside back cover, of Shatner reciting the last two lines. My drawing skill was pretty sharp back then. It was a caricature, though, not an attempt at a realistic portrait, so I made sure to exaggerate the broad smile. * * * As usual, my extended quotes are from [The Star Trek Transcripts](http://www.chakoteya.net/StarTrek/23.htm), although I should not have to point out that there is my own tweaking concerning the speech patterns. ---
