>(rant lisp) ;WARNING: deranged programmer

Scheme?! Ya, right, it’s a stupid crippled version of Lisp, which is already quite bad enough. emarkp, I’ll have to check out that link, thanks for the heads up.

vim does paren matching. I use vi(m) exclusively and I love it.

I’m not a big PERL fan either actually. I do nearly everything in C/C++/ASM. And if those aren’t the right tools, I do the rest in Korn Shell.

Korn Shell (in its latest incarnation) can compete with PERL. No lie. The new Korn has sockets and the like. It’s pretty slick.

Hmm. From the title, I was expecting something along the lines of, “My thtupid computer keepth crashing on me. Thith theverly pitheth me off. Maybe I need new thythtem thoftware.”

Well, the tipoff is that the thread title and OP is written in Lisp syntax. Anyone who does not recognize this is obviously not a computer geek, and can recursively mutex-lock my stack overflow core dump. So there.

Um, shouldn’t that be:

void main(void){int l=0;char msg=“J**!qsfgfs!D!**”;for(l=0;l<=10;l++)putchar(msg[l]-1);}

?

Oh boy, I am geeky enough to be the first to mention Intercal

Probably. Both compiled and ran (under Borland’s Turbo C++), but that isn’t to say mine didn’t have errors and/or bad syntax.
