Before you get upset, just consider that I posted this instead of STARTING yet another fucking topic just to vent. Before the explosion at **Marcoule** the French radiation monitoring site updated their radiation monitoring stations every four hours. Nothing has been updated now for the last 48 (since the explosion) [http://www.irsn.fr/FR/Documents/france.htm](http://www.irsn.fr/FR/Documents/france.htm) I’m not the only one who finds this odd in the extreme. ---

This is an essential threat from every reactor. There is no solution to a threat. Since Fukushima it came out that another power plant had a fuel rod accident 17 years ago. Just a small fuel rod accident. Yet they still don’t know how to fix it. Even if they could move the melted fuel, there is no where to move it to. ---

Whoops, after a long period of time you can of course very carefully put spent fuel rods into dry storage. But you need to keep them with air cooling, and guarded all the time. But the fresh shit, that has to stay under water. ---

Top experts, scientists, nuclear physicists, as well as policy makers and the NRC all have agreed that the spent fuel problem is real, needs to be solved, and poses potential danger. Internet dickbags will still try and deny this scientific fact. That they consider themselves above scientific truth, and reality itself, it tends to make me mock them. ---

The fact that all real time readings from nuclear monitoring stations in France stopped after the explosion is getting even the nuclear cheerleaders interested. Seems Marcoule is a lot more than just some low level waste plant.
