Ok, this is a minirant, but did anyone ever have one of those “atomic clocks” that ever lived up to it’s billing? There are more than one of these beasts in Casa Vorlon, and they don’t set themselves. I know that I’m far east, heck I can toss a rock and it hits the Atlantic ocean, but I have never had one of these things set itself like advertised. ---

I used to donate blood regularly. I used to have easy veins, I guess, that made it easy. The last two tries ended in failure when I stopped bleeding or, worse, they couldn’t get the vein in the first place. So I’ve stopped donating for a while to see if losing weight or something helps. It hurts when they don’t get the vein and it’s a waste for both of us for them to have to stop a donation before it’s complete. This seems reasonable, right? So why does the Red Cross keep calling me literally every day, begging for blood? Are they actually vampires? ---

My protein drink wss puke flavored. Do they not have taste testing on these things? IDK, maybe peeps like puke flavoring. Not me. I’m getting something to mix and make my own. It’s gotta taste better. ---

I’ve had one for many years, and I don’t remember the last time I had to manually change the time. Sometimes it takes a day or two, but it always sets itself. This time it was a matter of minutes. ---

XD The mod also resulted in splitting the tailpipe…something about wanting two (chrome-encased) exhaust pipes coming out of the back instead of just one? I honestly wasn’t paying attention at that point. He claims that the presence of the dual exhaust pipes caused another pickup truck driver challenged him to a drag race at a stoplight. ---

Grrrr! We have a freeview on DirevTV. Absolutely nothing worth watching on these channels. Why would anyone pay extra for them? #2 My remote batteries are low. No correct batteries in the house. ---

You should grab a sauce pan and a box of Morton’s salt. ---

I understand why you would have stopped listening but, what!? Is there some kind of exhaust pipe code amongst truck accessorizers like the gay handkerchief code? Dual exhaust pipes means he wants to drag race. Truck nuts means the driver was dropped on his head as a baby. ---

Went to the Dr. Wednesday because I thought I had strained something in my shoulder over the weekend. I mentioned that I also, coincidentally, had a little rash in the area. She said uhoh, let me see… Yep, that’s shingles. Shingles sucks. Even with the good drugs. ---

Like **digs** , I wasn’t sure… Thanks =) It sort of works you get an ‘almost clear, we can’t really find anything _now_’ and then you get 5 years of waiting before they will decide that you are cured. But you can still come out with another round [unless whatever it was was totally removed…] The way it more or less works with me as a paraphrase I have 15% chance of it being 100% cured, never have an issue again, about 50% chance of finding random polyps on scoping my guts and them being nipped off like many people end up with having done, and 35% chance of it coming back and rolling over me like a herd of mad elephants and needing to get the lower end of my guts removed and me getting to crap in a bag …my oncologist, surgeon and radiation oncologist feel that the odds are mostly with me being either totally cured or only having random polyps for the rest of my life.
