I swear, she must have reinforced neck muscles to hold that thing up. Memo to Comedy Central: cancel Reno 911! already. And we don’t need two commercials during every break for Carlos Mencia. He’s not even that funny. And TBS, if you’re willing to show Mr. Show mostly uncut at 2 a.m., why not show the Austin Powers movies uncut? Honestly, it’s just silly. ---

You know, I have realized that it’s not that she has a big head, she just has a smaller than average neck, and the combo of that, the camera angle, and wearing her hair up makes her ehad look HUGE! I saw the Thanksgiving special Food Network had on last November, and during the scenes she was in that didn’t take place in her studio/kitchen, she looked perfectly normal and hot. And the teeth? Last I knew, we all had the same amount of teeth. 😕 ---

Now it’s all 1980’s shows. TV has been around for over 50 years, there are enough shows out there that they don’t have to show _Hunter_ and _Full House_. ---

The most heartbreaking example of a cable channel going to waste is BBC America. As programmers, they have access to some of the greatest comedy and drama programming known to man. Yet they put out pap like _The Benny Hill Show_ and _Monty Python_ ad infinitum. Oh sure, they’ll air _The Office,_ or _The Fast Show_ for a few weeks, but it’s back to the lowest common denominator crap right after! And don’t get me started on the home and garden shows. BBC America execs - we have the _same shows_ in North America. And if watching these shows is your thing, I think a viewer would be more likely to watch versions in familiar places instead of the UK version. And who watches that much Graham Norton? I’ll never forgive them for cancelling _EastEnders_ and _The Fast Show_. Bastards. My PBS station does a better job of showing good British comedy (the occasional _Chef!_ or the brilliant _A Bit Of Fry and Laurie_… but enough with the _Keeping Up Appearances_ (which also appears on BBC America, natch)! ---

Over a year ago I got fed up with cable TV in general, and went to analog-only. I miss IFC and BBC America, but otherwise life is pretty good – especially now that I can get original HBO and SHO programming via Netflix. Or as my husband calls her: “lollipop head”. It doesn’t matter what she cooks. She could be breading and deep-frying cheeseburgers, but he can’t watch the show because he can’t stand looking at her head. She may have a small neck, but the head is too big for her body, too. She’s pretty, though. I just can’t look at her, either. ---

My major beef is that Rachel Ray doesn’t do her show naked. Other than that, I have so many cable choices that if something bugs me, I have 200 other channels to choose from.
