# "Rape and incest"... why not just "rape"?

So the logic of abortion ban supporters might be summarized as: A zygote is a human being owed the full protection of the law from the moment of conception, unless the circumstances of that conception make me go “ick.”

As logically inconsistent as it may be, yes.
