If they were trying to get it back to Mongolia, but the Chinese and South Koreans didn’t want the bird anywhere near their capital cities, couldn’t the authorities have come up with some other way of conveying the vulture to Mongolia rather than just release it near the Thai-Myanmar border and hope for the best? This is a tragic story, indeed.
