# Rasmussen called last night

Yes - I still have a landline. Not just because I’m an old fart; I work in telecom, and I know how reliable wireless lines are. Also, polling operations call landlines.

Last night, Rasmussen called, and I got the opportunity to drive a certain approval rating down a bit more.

It is interesting to note how the wording differs between Rasmussen and Gallup. Gallup gives options on how I feel the country is moving. Rasmussen asks whether I agree that the country is moving in the right direction. Gallup asks whether I approve of the president. Rasmussen asks whether I approve of the job the president is doing.

Little, subtile shit like that is what makes Rasmussen’s pole skew right.
