# rate my movie purchases

All my favorite movies (between 50 and 100) I taped off of Turner Classic Movies, including some rarities that aren’t available anywhere. I have three VCRs that are still working just fine, and a biggish old fashioned TV that works just fine. Yes, I’m a simple-minded, old-fashioned asshole, and also the biggest cheapskate you can imagine. I’m not going to chuck out my stuff and “upgrade” it at some vast (to me) expense just because it’s so last decade. (though yeah, I do have a DVD player and a flat screen TV somewhere in the house). Aren’t DVDs going to be obsolete pretty soon anyway?

I haven’t seen Godfather but it’s supposedly a classic.
True Lies was very enjoyable.
Jingle All The Way I haven’t seen, and generally I avoid holiday themed movies.
Total Recall + Terminator 2 are also enjoyable, although if I were going to get Terminator I would have gotten the series pack.
I’m sensing an Arnold theme…
