Gah, didn’t include Westing by Musket & Sextant in my Pavement list. Oh, well, it was basically just a collection of EPs. It’s great, though, I’d probably rank it somewhere in the top three.

Not including the live “Stand in the Fire”, or “Hindu Love Gods” with REM.

**Beck:**

1. _Sea Change_

It’s interesting that while Warren Zevon’s best albums were his earliest, Beck’s best albums are his latest. That bodes well for Beck.

Dead Kennedys:
1-Bedtime For Democracy
2-Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables
3-In God We Trust Inc.
4-Frankenchrist
5-Plastic Surgery Disasters
(I didn’t include Give Me Convenience, since its not a “real” album)

The Cramps:
1-Smell Of Female
2-Songs The Lord Taught Us
3-Gravest Hits
4-A Date With Elvis
5-Look Mom No Head
6-Fiends Of Dope Island

1-Tapping The Source
2-3rd times the charm EP
3-Lazy Cowgirls
4-A Little Sex And Death
5-Ragged Soul

7-Broken Hearted On Valentines Day EP
8-Rank Outsider
9-Somewhere Down The Line
10-Here and Now

The Avengers
1-Self titled LP on CD Presents Records
2-Died For Your Sins (this one shouldn’t count, but “The End Of The World” is such an awesome song)

and the obligatory Clash list:
1-Sandinista (yes, I said Sandinista.)
2-The Clash
3-London Calling
4-Give Em Enough Rope
5-Cut The Crap
(I’m not even going to include Combat Rock as I absolutely HATE that record. Cut The Crap, had it been produced and arranged better could have been a fairly OK album.)

I should post an Electric Frankenstein list since they’re one of my favorite bands, but their discography is a mess, with tons of 7"s, 10"eps, LP comps of 7"s…my head hurts just thinking about trying to decide what to include on the list.

And Husker, in honor of the great nation of Norway, here’s my Turbonegro list:
Never Is Forever
Apocalypse Dudes
Ass Cobra
Hot Cars and Spent Contrceptives
Scandinavian Leather (It grows on you, I swear!)

Jon

Oh shit…one more…

2-Rock For Light
3-Black Dots

I’ll take the Zappa challenge, although I’m only going to list the records I have, so that leaves most of his “serious” work out.

1-Sheik Yerbouti (OK, this may be a cheesey choice for #1, but this is the first FZ album I really paid total attention to. It didn’t hurt that my friends and I went a whole summer with a broken record player and this was the only tape we had.)

2-Thing Fish (It was like everything Frank had done up untill that point led to Thing Fish. Not only was the story cool, there was a related Hustler pictoral to go along with it, but the most fun was all the refrences to earlier FZ themes and characters.)

3-Bongo Fury

4-Studio Tan

5- Filmore East…no, Broadway The Hard…no…You Are What…wait, what about the YCDTOSA series…Drowning Witc…Apostro…Roxy…

Ya know…I cant do this…

No need to defend it, as far as I’m concerned. Although it wasn’t #1 on my list, I agree; it’s a hell of an album, no matter what anyone else says.
