Very glibly, she started ripping the pages to shreds. That _is_ like eating the homework. So I was wrong; cats can and will do this. And then there was the time one of my cats jumped up on top of the refrigerator and got into a big bag of Einstein Brothers bagels. We found them all on the floor…each one had a big bite mark. My sister was so livid she actually started to cry (a grown-ass adult!) Thinking about it now makes me laugh. ---

Both get 100 from me. I’d like to have a dog, but I’m away from home so much that it wouldn’t be fair to the dog. I enjoy meeting new dogs, even the ones who jump on me. I volunteer for a cat and dog rescue group, and have been peed on by so many puppies and dogs that I consider it to be normal and have one pair of “puppy” shoes that I wear for them. I think snarling ankle biters are hysterically funny. Cats are full of awesome. Even my idiot ring pooping cat 😉 They poop in boxes so I don’t have to do a search and destroy mission in my yard like I had to when I had a dog. Cats are low maintenance, if I’m tired when I get home, I don’t have to take them for a walk. I can just slump down on the couch and toss balls, then get cuddles. ---

Cats: +80 - I love cats but their dander makes me sneeze and my nose run Dogs: +40 - some I like; some I don’t. ---

Cats: 98 Dogs: 80 I consider myself an animal lover but admit I’m not as good with dogs as I am with cats (due to experience). When I retire I hope to add a dog to my household. ---

I have had and loved cats all my life; I have a cat tattoo. I love cats, but not all cats - dirty, nasty, mean cats I can do without, but I can’t imagine my home without a cat. If this question had been posed a couple of years ago, i probably would have given dogs a significantly negative number. We had a couple of dogs when I was growing up, but I also was bitten by one, and that made me somewhat frightened of dogs. But my daughter got a Golden Retriever a couple of years ago, and he made me realize that some dogs are pretty OK. I’m still nervous around unknown dogs and I really don’t like little, yappy ones, but Goldens, at least, are pretty cool. Cats: +80 Dogs: +30 ---
