# rate your music

For a while, SDMB member **JohnBuckWLD** would put up weekly polls in Cafe Society where he would give a band name and then people would call out their favorite tracks. He then ranked the tracks to get an almost definitive list of “best” tracks by these bands for fun. [This](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=377778) thread is an example of one of those polls.

ETA: Oh, and to answer your actual question, no idea what the actual website is. I just know what it refers to.
