I’m pretty sure awareness of my presence 'round these parts is more or less non-existent, unless you’re part of the small cluster of Dopers who read/follow/post in the MMP. ---

I am pretty inoculous as well - and don’t tend to attract a lot of controversy. I was better known on this board years ago, but have mostly faded into the wallpaper - which is okay. To be fair, this board has helped me through some rough times, and I do count some of it’s members among my friends - they have always been there to help out when I have needed it. ---

Probably only one or two. I met **commasense** when he was in Copenhagen, so I hope that he at least remembers my username. I, on the other hand, remember a _lot_ of you guys. So many that I’ll probably embarrass myself if I ever were to make a list (by revealing how much time I spend here, I mean). ---

I decided that the poll was asking how many people would recognize your user name. I put 50+. 10 years here ought to rate name recognition, if nothing else. As far as considers me a friend, or met face to face, probably about 5. **Cat Whisperer** - I had no idea you were **Featherlou**. Name changes throw me for a loop. StG ---

I put 100+, but that is because I administer the Death Pool (shameless plug for the [2010 game](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=542082)). If I did not do that and were known only for my erudite and witty posts, it might be close to zero. ---
