Razorsharp

He’s back!

Actually, his views aren’t so bad, it’s that he insists that everyone who disagrees with him is stupid, blind, or part of the conspiracy.

Oh yeah, that guy. I forgot he was the saliva recycler. And here I’ve been taking him seriously the last couple of days. Sorry, my bad.

His views aren’t that bad? Really? Segregation should have been left to dissolve at a natural pace. Crime is the result of coddling minorities. Personally I think his views suck.

That was exactly the point I found most infuriating. Just because it was happening “slowly” (which is arguable anyway) doesn’t mean that it was correct, and that it didn’t needed to be helped along.

And, hello? John Jay and our founding fathers are dead. They didn’t have electricity then either but that doesn’t mean we can’t use it now. Things change. The evolve…herobably doesn’t believe in evolution either.

Ack.:smack:

One thing is certain: the point of his head is

Nah, too easy.

Can we all just agree that any conservative that even december won’t agree with is a nutjob?

Glurge. Straightup glurge.

And Z_C, the term I use for people like Razorsharp is “cementhead”. All mixed up, but too set to change.

Well, “bad” in the sense that he’s not directly advocating the revival of the KKK or shooting at ATF agents. Actually, he seems almost quaint and comical to me, blending in with all the right-wing nutcases the U.S. is full of.

Chumpsky, on the other hand, was someone I really despised.

The puzzling thing is that he has this bug up his ass about the Seventeenth Amendment, having started two threads on the subject, with virtually identical verbiage, within three months.

Now I understand that people get bugs up their ass about unusual things. Some people have bugs up their ass about Seinfeld, or Barney, or the designated hitter rule. But I’ve never known anybody who had a bug up their ass about the Seventeenth Amendment.

Until now.

jklann, I’d attribute his problem with the 17th ammendment to his general tendancies towards reactionary thinking and hero-worship of the founding fathers. He seems to think that period in history was some kind of golden age of enlightenment. The fact that he has such a pathetic understanding of the realities of that age just makes him pitiable IMO.

Enjoy,
Steven

The 17th? Election of the Senators? He could at least pick a GOOD amendment!

I’ve got dibs on the Twentieth. Every time Congress does something I don’t like, I’ll blame it on the fact that their terms start on January 3 instead of March 4.

And don’t get me started on the third. Only communists wouldn’t quarter a soldier.

FWIW, I do agree that people coming into America ought to learn the language; they shouldn’t insist that we learn theirs. However, Razorsharp (is anyone else enjoying the irony of the usernam?) is such a putz that I’m embarrassed to agree with him about anything!
