good information, quite puts my mind at ease, being one with terrific invasions twice or thice yearly. Would feel better if you could give some references. thanks for your great work.

Ooo good post =) References the column in question [would be better with a link, but is still outstanding] and gets to the point =)
I had also wondered if they were disease vectors as well. I ended up asking an exterminator [who said that if there was unsecured garbage rotting somewhere that they walked through they could possibly carry germs along, but they themselves didn’t tend to carry any diseases internally normally.]
Do you have a preferred treatment for your little visitors? We do a combination of ant baits and boric acid.
