I mean seriously, how the hell did he think he was going to get away with this? That’s just straight cheating. ---

My only guess, and it is a guess, is that they come from places like Turkmenistan where it’s a normal part of life. In many some just in order to get a drivers license you better be ready to grease a few palms. ---

Because other officials have committed similar offenses and gotten away with it. So why not try? In this case, the decision was overturned, but in others that didn’t happen. It’s one of many Olympic scandals involving officials. ---

Did you hear the one about the 15 year-old volunteer that was in charge of timekeeping for a fencing match and screwed a South Korean fencer out of a chance to advance to a gold medal match? [Here she is crying](http://www.sportsgrid.com/media/fencing-controversy-15-year-old-timekeeper/) while being escorted out by security after refusing to leave the court in protest after her challenge was denied. WTF is a 15y.o. volunteer doing in such a position? I feel sorry for both of them.
