Personally, when I look over a ledge, cliff, balcony, or tall building I get the urge to spit! And I often do. Lookout below! : )

Seems like this is better suited to IMHO rather than Comments on Cecil’s Columns, where it was originally posted.

This has been discussed here before. It seems to be pretty common for people to want to jump off of things like that. I know I get the feeling.
