Cecil’s answer on the origins of the weasel makes sense, but in light of his answer, another question is raised; where does the monkey come into it, and why is it chasing the weasel around the cobbler’s bench?

Not really a post of any great worth, but I’m going to have a drink in The Eagle when I have finshed this evening. (It’s in Farringdon Rd).
