I think there’s a lot of variation available in writing that most people do not avail themselves of. Hi guys says one thing to me. Hi guyz says another and Hai guise says a third. It’s not that anyone is necessarily appropriate but there’s a different level of feeling, irony and camaraderie in them. In much the same way, I ate the plums in the icebox. says one thing and i ate the plums in the icebox says something else. For me, not capitalizing is often used to demonstrate embarrassment or regret. Napoleon was a heroic german! Actually he was french. oops, i’m sorry ---

I’ll just say this: (1) **expectopatronum’s** non-capitalized, non-punctuated text is frankly far less irritating than (2) **Susanann’s** RANDOMLY CAPITALIZED, randomly !!! punctuated Text!!! ---
