Hey, it’s getting close to the subscription anniversary date for the Charter Members. Just wondering if there’s any deals to be had, perhaps for longer terms? I know a lot of folks will be thinking about this soon. Let’s keep our readership subscribed! ---

What, and cheapen the cachet of “Charter Member”? I’d support some version of “Been around long enough to be a charter member, but failed to notice the five bajillion reminders to reup in a timely manner.” 😛 ---

As long as it does not only apply to the CM’s I wouldn’t mind. Since you all that pay half what the others pay it should be incentive enough. I’m sorry that in the billions upon billions of pages on the internet, it took me an extra few years to find the Straightdope, doesn’t make me any less valuable than someone that found it sooner. ---
