Y’know, even if everyone on the planet comes together in one giant eco-anarcho-communist syndicate and we all join hands and sing folk songs and groove on pine trees, the world is _still_ going to be destroyed sooner or later. Question: Clearly, **Chumpsky** is never going to realize that his single-minded political lip-flapping is worth approximately half a sack of wet animal hair, so is it more likely that he copes with our mockery by telling himself we’re Evil, or we’re Stupid? ---

You do realize, I hope, that the person who wrote bitterly about the Stalinist perversion was a committed socialist his whole life, and who fought with the Marxist militia in the Spanish Civil War? In short, the idea of equality and egalitarianism does in no way imply that everyone is equal, or should be. Socialism aims to create a society where everybody is _treated as an equal_. ---

Duckspeak is a term of contempt for anyone disagreeing with IngSoc, the totalitarian ideology that rules Oceania in 1984. By definition, terms that contradict the given truths of IngSoc are as meaningless as the quacking of a duck, hence “duckspeak.” Doubleplusungood Comrade Chumpsky in memory hole must go soonest.
