Readers, join the [SDMB Goodreads group](http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/822.SDMB_Straight_Dope) for a [non-competitive challenge](http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/43741.Authors_of_the_world_A_Non_competitive_Challenge) to read at least one book from every country on the globe.

I’m not making much progress yet, but other members are doing much better. Join us!

Even if you don’t want to join in the challenge, feel free to join the Goodreads group. Though we’re admittedly a bit slow at the moment.
