Oh no! The timer went out again. All the Unread threads just got marked Read. Oh well. ☹ ---

The fix was worth a shot. Maybe once they tweak the system, this will still go away. At least the hallucinogenic phenomena of recent days have ended. ---

No problems since the board went back up again for me. Ah, is not it great for the board to be actually working again! ---

For people that are seeing that issue again…does refreshing the thread help at all? In the worst of the _Bad Times_ there were some odd caching issues. I don’t suspect this is related, but it would be a good data point. Also, we should come up with a name for said times. ---

It was fine for weeks, and then today again. What am I doing or not doing that is causing this to happen? Or, whom do I speak sternly to? ---

As I mentioned in another thread, it seems to come and go in clusters. Fine for a while, then unfine several times in a row. Today I had a handful of threads marked Read amid all the Unreads. Odd. But the main culprit seems to be some sort of hiccup upon log-in. Check your Last Visited time at the top, and it will actually give the time you just logged in. ---

This is getting really old. I’m sick of coming here and seeing all threads read because the board thinks I last logged in five minutes (or one hour) ago when I haven’t visited for 12 hours. I’ve used a lot of vBulletin boards and none has had this issue. ---

I hadn’t experienced this particular irritation until recently but it’s happened three times in the past week - the first time the board claimed I’d been here when our whole internet was down. ---
