Damn your Eyes is simply a curse. Loosing your eyesight would be a bad thing and so to say damn-your-eyes is a bad thing. My interpretation of a “damn-your-eyes aristocrat” is an aristocrat who makes no apologies about being so, one who is in your face about it. You could just as easily say he was an “up yours aristocrat” or a “fuck you aristocrat” ---
