A couple weeks ago I was in St. John’s, NF and took some colleagues out to lunch at Don Cherry’s. I’d never been in the place before. I took a look around at all the giant portraits of some bullet-headed guy in flashy suits and said, “I take it this is someone other than the jazz musician, then?” They fell about laughing.
A mere accident of birth. And bad timing.
I accidentally watched about 10 seconds of this nonsense a week or so ago and was aghast to see Dennis Miller and Anne Coulter discussing their choices for greatest American. I changed the channel before Anne could anoint Joseph McCarthy or Roy Cohn.

A quick check of the Anagram Server clarifies the importance of Ronald Reagan to America. His name morphs to “A GLAND ON REAR.”
