They should stay in Maryland and call themselves the Maryland Resistors, or something. The mascot could be a giant electric resistor\*, and the crown can chant “Ohm, Ohm, Ohm!” for every score. \*Anyone know the color code for “8647 Ohms”? ---

As I’ve pointed out in an article I’ve written (and on this Board), the Standard Color Code for Resistors and one of the original designs for the Pride flag have something in common – they use a spectrum running from Red to Violet (although the resistor code adds black and brown and silver and gold and gray and white), but it’s only Red-Orange-Yellow-Green-Blue-( ) – Violet. There’s no Indigo, despite Roy G. Biv.
