# Real Thread Titles That Look Like Spam

Thanks to the machines getting closer and closer to sentience, this board is now being infested by [spam threads with real-sounding names.](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=765813)

They’re being reported and banished as quickly as possible, of course. But what about **real** threads with slightly awkward titles, but genuine posts with genuine topics.

That’s because they’re copying real thread titles.

The usual thread titles are either random/semi-random word strings or badly translated attempts at a real title.
