I hold Democrats to the standards I expect of people I am going to support. I don’t support any Republicans at the moment (or at the decade), so I’m not sure why you’re so obsessed with what standard I hold them to. The answer is “the same standard I hold Democrats to”, which is why I _don’t support any of them_. DUHHHHH! If your complaint is that _REPUBLICAN SUPPORTERS_ hold Republicans to a lower standard than I hold Democrats to, you’re right! They clearly have lower standards than I do! There was a time when I would have looked forward to Maher interviewing Trump; I would have expected him to embarrass the feck out of him, or at least pose some genuine questions. Now I figure there will be a set t of talking points / questions dictated by the White House. How many think donnie will go through with it? What do you think donnie thinks he’ll get out of it? Will you watch it? I don’t have the answers to the first two, but if it goes down, I will probably watch.
