The BBC did a documentary/docu-soap in 2005 about a village where men had to survive a week without women: \*The Week The Women Went \*. The format has been adapted in the Netherlands, Belgium and Canada as far as I know. ---

I see reality shows/documentaries showing the life of rock stars, singers, rock groups, etc. but are mostly male dominated. So we see a lot of sex, drugs, fights, etc. I’d love to see a show from the perspective of a FEMALE rock singer/band to see what really goes on. Is is still sex, drugs, and fights or is it a totally different dynamic for women musicians? ---

I remember something like this on PBS a while ago. It was a “House” series like “Frontier House” and “1900 House” and each one lasted like 3 months. I remember one of them that was supposed to be set back in medieval days where in one episode they had to extract Iron from ore. It wasn’t an elimination and I don’t think there was a big prize, it was just groups of families that were trying to survive they way they would have in that particular period. And it wasn’t just individuals, it was also husbands and wives and their children participating. Very entertaining. Except for 1900 house. I didn’t like that one much. Personally I’d like to see a bunch of scuzzy,belly scratching,toothless degenerates from different settings living together in a tiny little trailer. Throw some backwoods trash with some city trash and some small town trash and it doesn’t matter if they are from the north, east, south or west, as long as they are trashy and dirty and missing a few teeth. ---
