My runaway winner: **Cars,** by Gary Numan. Just a terrifically geeky song. You have got to love an era in music history when you could have a Top 40 hit with a song entirely composed and produced on a Commodore 128. ---

Okay, well I have no idea what geeky is but does Life Is A Rock by Reunion qualify? I love that song! Styx, Journey, and Rush get disparaged a lot but I’m absolutely crazy about Come Sail Away, Lady, Lights, Who’s Crying Now, and Fly By Night. Oh and Muskrat Love? I like all of America’s hits _except_ Muskrat Love. It’s the track on their Greatest Hits tape that I fast-forward over! 😃 ---
