This sounds wrong because a mayor is democratically elected, and is a servant of the people who put him in power. How is that remotely relevant? And where is the outrage if you correct that major, basic misconception? ---

Hey give Ed a break. People have been rippin’ him for not being a member of the community, and he starts posting, and now you’re rippin’ him for trying to be a member of the community. Kudos Ed, for posting without banning somebody. 😛 BTW, have you heard about these smiley things, so people can tell you’re joking? They’re all the rage now. As you are kind of a God-like being around here, and have been doing a fair amount of smiting, people are concerned you’re kind of Old Testamenty. But we really want to see a New Testamenty Ed, indicated by happy smilies. ---
