Just noticed this today: Posted a new thread to IMHO. Clicked the “Show Signature” box. Everything worked fine, but hmm, what happened to my sig? Oh well, maybe I didn’t check the right box. A moment later, realized I left something out of my OP, so I post another message to the same thread. Was smart this time and hit preview (after also checking “show signature”). Shows up just fine in the preview. When I hit ‘submit post’, and (eventually) get taken to the now-posted post, my signature has now disappeared.

Glitch in programming? Fates out to get me? Something else?

If you preview, you have to check the box again before you finally submit it.

I don’t know about you, but in my profile I turned off view all sigs.

I don’t know if you have that on or off, but you could check your profile.
