The CD I’ve asked the kid for is Crowded House’s _Woodface._ I used to have it, my favourite driving music, but haven’t seen it for years. I am a bugger for lending stuff to people, so it’s probably in some other car’s player. ---

Bumping my own thread to say I just bought yet \*another \*pair of the boots off ebay - I now have them in black UK size 5, brown UK6 (bit big, but okay with thick winter socks!) and just found a once-worn brown pair in a 5 which will be a better fit. I’ll hoard the bigger brown pair as a spare set 🙂 I also just rebought [“Pirate Ballads”](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue%27s_Gallery:_Pirate_Ballads,_Sea_Songs,_and_Chanteys) for myself - I’d bought a copy when it came out years ago, but since it was a gift for the now-ex, it got left behind, and I miss it.
