A recent touring production starred Richard Thomas (Juror 8) and George Wendt (Juror 1). The rest of the cast were unknowns (to me at least; avid theatre goers might know them). I can’t google it up, but SCTV once did a sketch recasting it with Liberace, (Liberace’s spurned and suing for palimony boyfriend) Scott Thorson, Paul Lynde, John Gielgud, James Coco, and other openly or known-to-be gay actors. ---

You guys are forgetting that play has a 13th character - the bailiff that periodically steps in to deliver transcripts and evidence and stuff. I nominate Rosie O’Donnell. ---
