I have had a braun for a while. It has trouble with neck-hairs and takes too long. It takes many many passes to get an area of skin smooth. It’s about time I bought a new one.

Money is almost no object. Reccomend a shaver that is quick and thorough.

I hear a fellow by the name of Guillotine has a contraption that’ll give you the closest shave you’ve ever had.

I used a Braun for years - the rep for German quality and all - but had the same problems as you complain of…

One day on the road, my razor broke, and in scenic Pittsburgh, the only drugstore I could run to had a Remington - one of the kind with the three rotary heads in a triangle layout. It whines like a sonofabitch, but it is the best electric shave I have had! Fast, smooth - and the big shaving surface is surprisingly easy to maneuver into tight places, like the mustache area. It made me a convert - the model I got was US$62 a couple of years ago and the rechargeable batteries no longer hold a charge, but I changed the cutters a few months ago and the shave quality is back to like new when I plug it in…
