So what if they try to slither away with the “whoosh” defense? All the more reason to mock and/or ignore them. ---

Parrotting something you heard somewhere should not be used as evidence to make your arguement. I agree on this one. I keep my XP boxes 100% up to date. As I support a company with over 100 XP/IE users, I continue to use IE despite some real advantages to FireFox or Opera, but by staying 100% up to date, I have no pop-up problems and no compatibility problems that non IE users run into. I like FireFox but as part of my job is IE support, I am better off knowing it well. It works fine. Jim ---

In fact, the reason I used that word in that way is BECAUSE I have seen it used in that way; my understanding of its meaning was based on its usage.
