The unscheduled maintenance was unlikely about fixing 50\* errors and probably about a server or database issue that cropped up expectantly. Somewhere in a corner of the computer room is an old tower server that the SDMB sits on and it hit its memory limit while everyone was enjoying their Holiday. The powers that be deemed it could wait until Joe went in on the 26th. Something like that.\* Of course I don’t have a clue what it actually was and they’ll probably not even let \*\*Tubadiva \*\*know. But I’m pretty sure it wasn’t about fixing 502 & 504 errors. ---
