Is there a site where you can search/narrow recipes by ingredient? That is, start with 10,000 recipes, then select chicken, narrowing it down to 2,528, then select mango, further narrowing it to 287, then select curry … and so on. Bonus if it works shopping-like, in that it lists the top twenty largest categories with checkboxes and amounts. I thought there was something like that out there (one of the epi-s?) but I can’t find it. Lots of places have search boxes, I’m looking for something a bit more sophisticated.

[allrecipes.com](http://allrecipes.com) does, too. Click up at the top of the home page on “Ingredients” and it will take you to two search fields:

INGREDIENTS I WANT:

INGREDIENTS I DON’T WANT:

The user reviews of the recipes make the site fabulous. See a recipe, then see fifty people’s experiences, alterations, and suggestions. Learn from their mistakes and ideas.
