Oh my God. I guarantee that Trump knew absolutely nothing about the history of Israel, of Palestine, of Jerusalem, or of anything pertaining to that part of the world, until he was coached by someone in his administration that it would appease some extreme Jews and evangelical Christians to say “Jerusalem is the capital.” And so he did it, and now there’s going to be even more conflict and violence somewhere far away while Trump sits in Florida eating well-done steak with ketchup and listening to Ted Nugent.
